Charm earrings designed a bit differently
These green crystal tree charm earrings latest addition to my shop.
Trying out to use different colors has always been an area of weakness for me.
Most of the time i get it wrong. These lovely beaded earrings are one of those times where I have made a bold move. .
Guess what! I am stoked at the outcome!
Who knew red and blue works well? ! Always thought it would be a retro combination! !
So happy to see these handmade earrings to come out perfectly
Hi, thinking what I am referring to?
Yes, it’s another successful trial which gives me another wonderful jewelry making technique !
I use beading technique in most of my handmade jewelries. Instead of using normal thread which is usually clear in colour, have used a coloured embroidery thread. .
Result is my natural pink acrylic beads now shows up as a distinct pink with lovely orange mix ..this combined with green acrylic beads -gives a very vibrant pair of earrings! !
Now my next step is to trial out this method with various beads and colored threads! !
Beading is quite addictive!!LOL! I know I have said the same when I started my paper bead addiction.
Truth is jewellery making craft is by itself very addictive. .
This bracelet marks the graduation of my jewelry making skills to the next level. .
If you had asked me a few years back whether I would attempt such a project of beading a bracelet, I would have definitely said no.
Happy that I am able to make a few complicated ones!!
Making these earrings was absolute fun..and it didn’t take me long to finish as well
I was so bored of using just one layer of thread work in most of my earrings. I needed to challenge myself with something different. .that was when I made double layers of thread work. .
Have used blue and green combination to make these earrings. .
